Tokyo, Procrastination

There is another woman who has the same name as me. She is an academic, who interesting enough, writes papers about being Japanese American or mixed marriages or something.

In a weird way, there are some superficial parallels to our lives. Kind of strange for someone whom I have never met.

Today, I think I got an email that was meant for her. I replied to the email letting the person know the wrong recipient had gotten the mail. It wasn't a juicy, gossipy mail. I don't know if I'm disappointed. Just joking. Quite relieved that it's not. But it had to do with a party for some organization I hadn't heard of.

It took me a bit to sort out that this thing I hadn't heard of wasn't a mail for me. I get a lot of various invites for different kinds of creative things so it took a bit of sorting.

Weird.

I wonder if she has ever gotten some mail meant for me.

I just realized the typo in the title. How annoying.

I fixed it but it still shows up as "Mistaked." I lerned English real good. Gah.

Ever since I got a new computer, I've had the worst time with typos. The most irritating one is the different placement of the apostrophe key.

Itis mistaken now.

I have gotten some calls for the wrong person (emails and phone), but every once in a while I get one from the right person.  Someone I have not heard from in a long time.
