Tokyo, Procrastination
I'm getting sick and tired of paying for a service then later finding out that it wasn't exectued. I have to accept some responsibility here, as I should never just assume that anybody is going to actually do what they say they will and I should hound people until it is done and I have the proof in my hand.

Problem is, I make the mistake of thinking that everyone is diligent and professional. I understand that we all make mistakes, (I make more than my share) but if it involves money, I try to do what I'm paid to and I think that other people should to.

I'm being vague about my exact situations, but the issue has come up pretty frequently as of late. I obviously must rethink the way I do things.

But am I wrong in thinking, "if I pay you do to something, then do it correctly"?

I completely understand where you're coming from. I have the same outlook about professional behaviour that you do, and I too suffer through people not doing what they are supposed to. There are mistakes, and then there's negligence. Sometimes people verge on negligence.

Maybe we're not intimidating enough?
