Tokyo, Procrastination

No reading today as I did three articles yesterday and I was starting to get annoyed with the feeling of too much reading and not enough doing.

Today, a lot of doing. Got two hours sleep because it was so darn hot last night. Don't know what we did to the airconditioner. Two nights ago I was wrapping my blanket around my head and thinking about wearing a toque to bed and last night steaming hot eve though it was same setting. This is not the perfect preparation for a productive day.

So I made my schedule for the day, altered it a bit in the morning and off I went. Got most of my tasks done as well. Thank good ness I didn't put any housekeeping tasks on my list or I'd have to feel guilty.

I'd still like to go over that master list and finalize a few things by breaking down some of the tasks further, but enough is enough for now. As I look around right now, things obviously have the appearance of being in flux, but at least I have the feeling of getting things done or at least being on the right track.

You seem to be doing well so far where making a list is concerned. You've given me hope, I'm gonna start doing that again when it comes to housework! Most times I get interrupted by a very helpful 3 year old!

! I can imagine what kind of help you get! When my brother and sister were that age, my mom used to tell them that cleaning the carpet was fun. We had some kind of wierd carpet that got really linty and apparantly mom said something like, "Let's pick lint! Won't that be fun!" and apparantly my brother and sister bought it! I escaped the lint picking because I was going to school. And people say that school sometimes isn't good for anything!

Now that we are older, my brother and sister think my mom was being sadistic by telling them picking lint was fun. My mom thinks it was an absolute scream that they believed it.

But maybe that is really the key to work, making a game of it. SOMEHOW! It is actually one of the suggestions at the concordia website that I linked to in the day two article.

Anyhow, good luck with the housework.
