Tokyo, Procrastination

My decorating angst has been somewhat appeased by finally getting curtains that aren't completely mismatched.

They are far from interesting. THey are a cream, rough weave. It makes my room look more like a box when they are closed, but, how nice not to have curtains that clash so badly that they make my head hurt!!!

It took me a while to get used to them. After I hung them, I just looked at them and thought,"weird!"

Lighting in the room changed by not having yellow curtains on one wall of windows. It's ok, though. I even get less glare on tv!

Very insignificant blog, but there it is.

Actually, this is a very serious blog!  Having a wife who is like that (we had a blind break, and could not find an exact match to the other blind, so she made me replace both), I think I know how you felt!  So congratulations on matching curtians.

LOL TY!

I think DH got off lucky. Now that I have matching curtains, I feel a lot less pressure to change things in the apartment, such as buying furniture!

I so need to do this in my LR. My curtains are so... so... drab. It's a dark room. The walls are white, but we have a big brick fireplace and wood above the mantel for that... so it seems dark. I need COLOR. Thanks for the motivation to start thinking about it again...

Glad it was Momijiki, and not me!  YOur husband would ban me from the MAN club!
